Good points. I wrote about AI in hiring and about human bias in AI data. But never looked at both of these together from this perspective. But it makes sense. Very eye opening. Pattern recognition trained on human bias in hiring is going to mirror those hiring patterns. Question is who exactly do you expect is going to be holding them accountable?

Thanks, Rudy! And, great question. Workday is one of those big corporations that seems to be baked in across the Fortune 500. Their clients are best positioned to hold them accountable (especially the ones who get caught up in the backlash). On par would be the media scrutiny from investigative reporting. Regulations and legislation will help, but businesses tend to respond to things that affect their perception (media) and their bottom line (clients).

As a disabled person (epilepsy, can't drive) , I've experienced what I'd call "soft discrimination"... a lot.
